Proenza Schouler
Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear -

-
The collection by the Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez duo was very elaborate.
That is what stood out the proenza Schouler fashion show that was expectantly awaited on the New York fashion scene. The inspiration was retro, the period of the 1940´s.
The reference was architectural, given the elaborate constructions of the wardrobe in its couture spirit. The look was dynamic; the silhouettes were strapped into very long tightly-fitted jackets worn with very short shorts. The colors were dark, black contrasted with brown and ocher. The prints were Tachist, (see the stylized flowers) and abstract, (geometric stripes), and the atmosphere arty.
